                              Sylvia

Sylvia came to Bucktail Run through Animal Friends Working Cat Program, which is an awesome program for cats that can not be adopted into typical homes for a variety of reasons, such as being feral or may have behavioral issues. Animal Friends vaccinates and spays/neuters the cats and adopts them to businesses such as farms, to help with pest control. However, Sylvia is an awful mouser so her employment title here at Bucktail Run is "Greeter".

Sylvia has a lot to talk about and will often be found giving her 2 cents in every conversation. She is known for giving a second opinion, or as the alarm for when someone is coming, or if her food bowl is empty.

                                Mojo

Sometimes we think we should have named the farm Grey Cat Stables!  Mojo came to us when Rachell worked at Banfield in Monaca. He was stuffed in a cat carrier with a Momma cat and 6 newborn babies. Both Mojo and the Momma Cat looked to be about 4 months old. If it hadn't been for a PetSmart worker taking the trash out early, Mojo and his friends may not have been found in time. So Mojo came to live with Rachell but he hates her dogs, so he found his place on a hay bale in the barn. He is an incredible mouser and makes up for Sylvia's inability to kill anything, while she is social enough for 10 cats.
